FlexiSAF Foundation

We seek a world where no child is denied the opportunity to learn and reach their full potential through quality education.

FlexiSAF Foundation is a non-governmental organization that focuses on providing access to education for underprivileged children as a means to solve the scourge of illiteracy and the problem of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Drawing on innovation, advocacy and humanitarian services, we are committed to creating a world where no child is denied the opportunity to reach their full potential due to their background or social class.

A Story To Our Journey

2018

FlexiSAF Foundation’s initiative to create safe learning spaces for out-of-school children is making a difference in rural communities.

FlexiSAF Foundation was founded in 2018 by FlexiSAF Edusoft Ltd as a signature initiative that merges cutting-edge technology and human will to address Nigeria’s education challenges with a particular focus on the vast marginalized communities.

2019

In making this vision a continued reality with steady impact, the Foundation enjoys a considerable percentage of FlexiSAF Edusoft’s profit annually to drive its various programmes that have altogether facilitated education scholarships and mentorship for more than 800 pupils in six states with support from partners and individual donors.

2020

In 2020, the FlexiSAF Foundation made significant strides towards achieving its mission, despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. We launched a food relief campaign to support vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic, and organized a successful webinar on digital learning to provide educators with valuable insights and best practices. We are proud to have made a positive impact on the lives of those in need during such a difficult time, and we remain committed to improving access to quality education and addressing social issues through the innovative use of technology. Our resilience and dedication to our mission have allowed us to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

2021

In 2021, we launched two impactful campaigns: the SaveAcclearn campaign, which was an online fundraising campaign to support our Accelerated Learning Program (Acclearn) and led to the acquisition of a mobile classroom to help to expand our reach to underserved communities; and the Walk for Education campaign, a fitness and advocacy campaign aimed at raising awareness on education issues in Nigeria and sending out-of-school children back to school. In terms of our advocacy efforts, we facilitated a workshop, in partnership with UBEC Nigeria, on school-related gender-based violence for SUBEB states from some states in Nigeria and hosted a capacity-building session for our partners. Regarding our Accelerated Learning Program, we completed the project in Rugga and celebrated with a grand event. We also enrolled all 34 Accelerated Learning beneficiaries into formal school, marking a successful transition. In addition, we participated in the development of national guidelines for implementing the Accelerated Basic Education Program (ABEP) in Nigeria and took part in the ABEP teacher's pilot training in Maiduguri. We are proud of these achievements and remain committed to our mission to improve access to quality education for all, especially those in unserved and underserved communities.
